The National Housing Development Corporation, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement invites sealed item rates from interested Bhutanese and Non Bhutanese Suppliers, Dealers & Manufactures having valid trade license or registered in conformity with the provisions of the laws of the country for the work “Supply and Installation of Modular Kitchens at the Minister’s Enclave Project in Motithang, Thimphu”
Suppliers, Dealers and Manufacturers from outside Bhutan should submit copies of original documents defining the legal status of registration, and principal place of business. Joint Venture between Bhutanese and Non Bhutanese firms is also encouraged subjected to submission of legally binding JV agreement entered into by the partners.
The tender documents containing detailed terms and conditions can be purchased from the office of the Head, Contract Administration Unit, NHDC on cash payment (Non-refundable) of Nu. 1000/- to the NHDC Accounts Section located in the main building of MoWHS during office hours from 6th October to 4th November 2009. The interested bidders should submit a written application to the above office prior to the purchasing of the documents
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than Nu. 84,000/- in the form of Demand Draft/Cash Warrant/Bank Guarantee from any reputed financial institutions in Bhutan in favor of Chief Accounts Officer, MoWHS. The bids must be submitted to the office of the Head, Contract Administration Unit, NHDC on or before 12:00 PM on 5th November 2009.
Bids shall be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM in the Conference Hall of the NHDC in presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
All the bidders are advised to read the bidding documents carefully and visit the site at Motithang to obtain necessary information prior to submission of the proposal and bid to fulfill the bid requirements before submitting this bid. Tender not accompanied by earnest money or otherwise not confirming to the terms and conditions shall be liable for rejection without explanation.
